About The Club

IKAST BRANDE CRICKET CLUB (IBCC)

Ikast-Brande Cricket Club (IBCC) was founded with the idea of offering cricket in Ikast-Brande and the surrounding area to both Danes and foreigners living in the area. There has been a great interest in the sport. A group with both Danish and international backgrounds decided to form Ikast-Brande Cricket Club in 2018. During IBCC’s short life, it has managed to reach a membership of more than 50 including women and children. The club has 73 members including both active senior team players junior players participating in the DCF tournament and training besides passive members. We are proud that international immigrants are well integrated in the area and that the local community welcomes them as well. The club offers several facilities for adults and children. Beginners can avail coaching sessions while the more experienced can participate in regular cricket matches. There are also international standard cricket pitch and field beside outdoor practice pitches and indoor facilities to practice during the winter season. IBCC feels that integration can happen effectively when families are involved. The club focusses on including the families of the members in all the club activities.
